OUR HISTORY
COUNTRY LUMBER WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1975 IN CHESHIRE, CONNECTICUT to meet the need for a full-service lumberyard
serving builders, contractors, and homeowners throughout the region.
FROM THE BEGINNING, THE FOCUS WAS ON PROVIDING A BROAD SELECTION OF BUILDING MATERIALS – including lumber, roofing, siding, doors, and trim – backed by knowledgeable staff and hands-on service.
Through the years, Country Lumber built a reputation for quality products and personalized support, adding differentiating
services such as a fully functional interior door and trim shop which set them apart from the competition. They became known for their excellent pre-hung doors and moulding supported by the broad knowledge of their staff. Their Moffett operators benefited both contractors and their customers by speeding up installation.
IN 2017, THEY WERE ACQUIRED BY TRADE SUPPLY GROUP and integrated into their network of building supply companies to
provide more options and expanded service to contractors and builders in the area.
